RE: KINHILL
RED & BLACK BALL 26 JUNE 1999
SOUL THERAPY
REFERENCE
The Kinhill, Queensland Social Club held the organization’s
annual black tie dinner dance at the Brisbane Greek Club, on Saturday 26 June
1999. Kinhill is a multidisciplinary consulting firm, and is part of the
International Brown & Root group. Approximately 120 staff, partners and
executives attended the evening from around Queensland and Australia.
The Committee conducted an extensive search for
a group with sufficient versatility
to please the range of tastes and ages present. Subsequently, Soul Therapy was
chosen to provide the dance music for the evening. However, classical duo
engaged to provide dinner music failed to attend, leaving the committee in an
embarrassing situation. Michael and Jennifer agreed to extend their commission
and fill this void at very short notice.
The class and versatility of the performance
provided by Soul Therapy impressed everyone. Progressing from jazz, popular to
dance music, the quality of the performance and ability to read the mood of the
occasion was excellent.
On a personal note, the Group's good humour and
flexibility turned a potentially embarrassing situation into a triumph. I would
have no hesitation in recommending Soul Therapy for almost any occasion in
terms of quality, versatility and value for money.
