To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Donna Hughes and I married Brett Hughes on the 10th August 2002. We had invited 130 guests so there was a great deal to organise while praying everything would be perfect on the day (as every bride does). I was extremely organised and knew what I wanted from day one- it was just a matter of finding it. When it came to choosing the music for the reception I knew that a DJ just would not cut it. I had always wanted a live band, I think it both looks very impressive and the sound can’t be beaten. The problem I had was who to pick. I wanted a band that could play popular songs for the younger crowd, softer music throughout dinner and classic oldies for everybody. Most importantly I wanted a band who could play our wedding song “You say it best when you say nothing at all” as good as Ronan Keating.

My partner and I heard about Soul Therapy and found out when their next performance was we saw them play at a football club and were very impressed. There were not many people there that night and the members of the band didn’t know we were looking to book them for our wedding, however the energy they were putting into each and every song was amazing. Both voices had an unbelievable range and were spot on. We had looked at other bands where the female voice was great and the male not so good but not the case here. My finance and I looked at each other nodding our heads to say, “This is the band”. During the break we introduced ourselves and in the conversation our first dance song came up. Mike informed me that they had just started learning it, I thought I would not get to hear it that night, however after the break it was the first song the they performed, and it was perfect; you would think they had been playing it for years.

Well the day finally arrived and everything was perfect, we were having a wonderful time. When we arrived a the reception I had a chance to quickly look over to the band and say hello, I must say I was very impressed with what I saw, all members were formally dress with big smiles on their faces. The music was amazing they just seemed

to know when to play certain songs and the guest loved it. The Quality of the music was exceptional and the quantity, well I cannot even remember when they took a break it seemed like they went all night.

The bridal waltz was perfect, even looking back now on the video, it sounds like Ronan really was there!!! After that as everyone knows comes the dancing and I can honestly tell you that there was not one part of the night the dance floor was not used. I saw relatives up dancing that I have never seen dance before, we had a Congo line form which included everybody and went around the whole reception area, the front end was meeting up with the back end; that’s how long it was. Even at the end of the night with the farewell circle Soul Therapy just knew the right kind of soft music to play, I gave them no list or instructions (besides the bridal waltz song).

I have to say that we had a wonderful night and it was thanks to Soul Therapy. We have had so much praise about the whole wedding in particular the band. I cannot thank Soul Therapy enough for making out wedding reception perfect and for entertaining the guest so well. If anybody else is given the opportunity to book Soul Therapy for their own wedding do not let this opportunity go because you will be settling for second best if you do. Thank you Soul Therapy for being involved in our wedding day, we will be recommending you to everybody and I personally can not wait to see you play again in the future.

Yours Sincerely,

Donna and Brett Hughes
